Job Details
Choose wisely. Some jobs come with coffee. Some come with a megaphone.
🍳 Breakfast Cook(People imprint on whoever feeds them first.)
Prepares a simple breakfast, usually around 9:00–10:00 AM. Consults with Yes Chef! the night before about what to cook, in case Yes Chef! is out of commission the following morning.
👨🍳 Chef (They who controls the food, controls the masses)
Follows the Head Chef's every order, always answering Yes Chef!, without questioning his authority. Preps and cooks the camp meal.
🧑🍳 Sous-Chef (Ce que dit le chef fait foi)
Same as Chef, but in French. French accent encouraged.
🧹 Moop Sweep (A clean house is a happy house)
Combs the camp for MOOP (Matter Out Of Place) and sweeps the camp for trash that we might have missed or it blew in from outside camp.
☕ Barista (Brews the whole point of this endeavour)
Makes coffee for the Café service. You will be trained by our Head Barista, Baby Bottle, in the art of fancy coffee making. Baristas are also in charge of breaking down the coffee station after each service. Baristas start making coffee one hour before we open.
🤝 Customer Service (Always smiling, no matter the nonensense)
Must be comfortable talking to strangers. Serves coffee, engages people, and plays games with the crowd. Customer Service is also in charge of putting away the decorations and closing the café after each coffee service.
📣 Barker (Quick, witty and fearless, with a megaphone)
Must be comfortable using a megaphone. Invites people to stop at the bar and have some coffee. Quick, witty, and funny. Also reminds people to park their bikes in the assigned spot.
